This week’s best Watchbase entries
TAG Heuer Carrera 160th Anniversary
CENSORED
I stumbled upon this one whilst uploading a couple of the more classical Carrera offerings – the TAG Heuer Carrera 160th Anniversary CBN2A1D.BA0643. Building upon the template of the Carrera 02 44mm launched earlier this year, this limited edition of 1,860 pieces sports a silver ‘Panda’ style dial. Not a bad look! There’s a blue one too, in the form of ref. CBN2A1E.BA0643.
Breitling Chronomat B01 42 Japan Edition
The Breitling Chronomat B01 42 AB0134101B2 is exclusive to the Japanese market. But what’s different? The red accents on both the dial as well as the hands are now silver, making for a pure monochromatic look. The devil is in the details!
Hi guys!
Skipped a week again, but don’t worry – I still added a ton of watches. As always, here’s a few cool and notable ones;
IWC Pilot’s Watch Racing Green
The IW377726 is a limited edition of 1000 pieces with a Racing Green dial. Pretty cool right?! LINK!
TAG Heuer Monaco Eighties Edition
The TAG Heuer Monaco Eighties is the second model introduced in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Monaco. I’m not sure if you noticed, but it features a bold red dial. LINK!
Breitling Premier B01 Wheels and Waves
Breitling is doing all sorts of cool stuff with brands such as Norton, Colnago, OuterKnown – and now the Wheels and Waves festival. It’s almost as if Georges Kern is living out his midlife crisis through the winged B… LINK!
Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Ultra Deep
BOOM – from outer space to ocean’s deep. The Seamaster Planet Ocean Ultra Deep -created for the The Five Deeps expedition- has 15.000 meters of water resistance. Sick. LINK!
Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph The Hour Glass
The Hour Glass is turning 40 and they’re gonna do a whole lot of limited editions to celebrate. First is this APRO. In full platinum nonetheless. That’s baller. LINK!
Hi guys!
This week I’ve been busy updating our Breitling section. I updated the prices and added a lot of missing configurations. I just finished the current collection and I’m now looking to improve the data we have on past collections too. This week’s list is thus 100% Breitling – but don’t worry, I picked the best!
Breitling Avenger II Seawolf Cobra Yellow
I LOVE Breitling’s bold dial colors – and this Avenger II is one of their best. The combination of the cool stainless steel, the yellow dial and the black rubber strap is stellar. LINK!
Breitling Transocean Chronograph
Who doesn’t fancy a good reverse panda? It’s paired with a golden brown calf leather strap on this Transocean, and it looks the business. LINK!
Breitling Emergency II Night Mission
The Emergency II is a wild watch in any configuration, but this boutique exclusive ups the ante. It features a carbon fiber dial with yellow accents, yellow hands and a bright yellow rubber strap. LINK!
Breitling Aerospace Evo
Breitling’s ana-digi expertise but in a more discrete package – the Aerospace Evo. I think this model might be up for a restyling later this year, but I for one hope they won’t mess with it too much. LINK!
Breitling Superocean Heritage II 42
Last but not least – and another one in blue-on-blue. I think the SuperOcean Heritage II is a stellar watch, especially in this latest generation which features a ceramic bezel insert and a Tudor-sourced movement. LINK!
