This week’s latest and greatest include the Tissot Telemeter 1938, a Breitling Navitimer for Singapore Airlines, and a new take on IWC’s classic Portugieser Chronograph.
A. Lange & Söhne 1815 Chronograph “Hampton Court Edition”
A. Lange & Soehne has long associated itself with various automotive concourses, and has created various watches to serve as prizes for the top contenders. The Glashuette-based brand has now created a one-off version of the 1815 Chronograph in celebration of the Hampton Court Palace Concours of Elegance, which will be auctioned off for the benefit of The Prince’s Trust. This charitable organisation was founded by HRH The Prince of Wales in 1976 and supports young people aged 11 to 30 to develop essential life skills, get ready for work, and access job opportunities. The print on the black & silver dial is sand-coloured, and the case is white gold. Details!
Khaki Aviation Pilot Pioneer Mechanical
The Hamilton Khaki Aviation Pilot Pioneer is a charming little pilot’s watch. Besides the original black dial, it’s now also available in both white and blue.
Omega Speedmaster Day-Date
I’ve also added a few missing neo-vintage Omega watches. One of my favorites, a bit of a guilty pleasure if you will, is this funky Speedmaster Day-Date in full red gold.
