The OMEGA Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional 310.55.42.50.13.001 debuted in 2023 as a precious-metal interpretation of the brand’s most iconic chronograph, distinguished by the addition of a diamond-set bezel.
The 42 mm asymmetrical case is crafted in 18K Sedna Gold and follows the established Moonwatch Professional architecture, including twisted lugs, crown guards, and a sapphire crystal on both the dial side and the case back. Surrounding the dial is a bezel set with diamonds, replacing the traditional tachymeter scale while retaining the characteristic profile of the Speedmaster bezel.
The stepped dial is executed in green, with applied hour markers and the applied OMEGA logo rendered in Sedna Gold. The chronograph layout remains consistent with the Moonwatch Professional configuration, featuring a small seconds display, 30-minute recorder, and 12-hour recorder. Hands and indexes are finished to match the case material, maintaining visual continuity across the dial.
Powering the watch is the manually wound OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 3861. The movement drives the timekeeping and chronograph functions and is certified by METAS, ensuring resistance to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss as well as compliance with stringent precision, power reserve, and performance standards. Through the sapphire case back, the movement’s rhodium-plated finish and Geneva-style detailing are visible.
The watch is fitted with an 18K Sedna Gold bracelet, incorporating polished center links and a foldover clasp with comfort adjustment. Water resistance is rated to 50 metres.
