The automatic Epsilon caliber ticks inside Tangomat, Club Automat, Ludwig Automatik, Ahoi and Zürich. It was our first automatic caliber, the one that won NOMOS Glashütte the accolade of “manufactory” in 2005. As usual, NOMOS Glashütte has added a shot of modernity to Glashütte tradition. The caliber’s bidirectional winding rotor works perfectly and the whole movement has an exquisitely accurate rate.
A watch of the world. The curves of the case, the form of the case horns, the elegance of the dial: This self-winding watch by Zurich designer Hannes Wettstein has been awarded a number of prizes; a modern classic. The NOMOS Epsilon movement within has also been widely praised—this timepiece is Glashütte quality, through and through.
Ref. 801 has a see-through caseback. Ref. 806 is similar though fitted with a stainless steel back.
