Löbner L62238 description
The LÖBNER Steelracer Speed Arrow Limited Edition L62238 debuted in 2025 as a tribute to the legendary “Silberpfeil” record cars of the interwar era. Its finely bead-blasted stainless steel case measures 41 mm in diameter and houses a silver-grey dial inspired by the streamlined aluminum bodywork of pre-war Grand Prix machines.
A red index mark on the tachymeter bezel commemorates Rudolf Caracciola’s 1938 world speed record of over 432 km/h in the Mercedes-Benz W 125 Rekordwagen—an event timed by LÖBNER.
The Steelracer’s time indication is decentralized, powered by a proprietary display module that leaves the central axis free for the chronograph seconds hand. Speeds between 60 and 600 km/h can be measured via the engraved tachymeter bezel. A patented crown guard system—Sledge—prevents accidental operation of the crown or pusher.
Inside ticks the L6223, a Swiss column-wheel chronograph movement with LÖBNER-specific decentral module and skeletonized rotor. It offers a 60-hour power reserve, beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour, and is equipped with 26 jewels. The movement is shock-resistant according to ISO 1413.
Produced in a limited run, the Speed Arrow bridges motorsport heritage and contemporary engineering, with a case design that prioritizes function and mechanical integrity.
