Steinhart F0321 description
Pilot watches enjoy wide popularity, in large part because of the simple, uncluttered dial and the large hands, which ensure maximum readability. Almost all of today's pilot watches are based on the design of the so-called Observer watches which were part of the equipment of every navigation officer serving in a German Air Force crew during World War II. The STEINHART Nav.B-Uhr 47 Handaufzug Bronze. is our more elegant interpretation of this classic design. More elegant as the case is made from finely brushed bronze, which will develop an individual patina over time, making each watch unique. More elegant also because of the metallic grey dial with its sunburst brushing, above which the brushed gold-coloured hands almost seem to be floating. Through the stainless steel exhibition case back one can view the heart of the Nav.B-Uhr 47 Handaufzug Bronze., the ETA 6497 Soigné with its 18 Geneva stripes and blued screws, in all its glory. While the technology and material of the STEINHART Nav.B-Uhr 47 Handaufzug Bronze. are completely of today, the design of the dial and hands which are generously treated with luminescent paint and protected by a domed and double-AR-coated sapphire crystal and of the watch crown references history in an authentic way.
