The Rolex Submariner Date in 41 mm yellow gold represents the precious-metal execution of the modern Submariner platform. Introduced in 2020, reference 126618LN-0002 features a 41 mm case crafted from 18 ct yellow gold and follows Rolex’s monobloc Oyster architecture, with a screw-down case back and Triplock screw-down winding crown. Water resistance is rated to 300 metres.

A unidirectional rotatable bezel with 60-minute graduations is fitted with a Cerachrom insert in Black ceramic, designed for precise measurement of dive time. The bezel insert features moulded numerals and graduations coated in gold, with a luminescent capsule set into the zero marker to ensure legibility in low-light conditions. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens covers the dial.

The dial is executed in Black and configured for underwater legibility, with applied hour markers in simple geometric shapes and broad hands filled with Chromalight luminescent material. The display includes centre hour, minute and seconds hands, along with an instantaneous date aperture at 3 o’clock.

Powering the watch is the Rolex calibre 3235, a self-winding mechanical movement operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour. It incorporates a blue Parachrom hairspring, Paraflex shock absorbers and a bidirectional Perpetual rotor. The movement delivers an approximate power reserve of 70 hours and features rapid-setting for the date, as well as stop-seconds for precise time adjustment. Following casing, it is certified as a Superlative Chronometer.

The watch is fitted with an Oyster bracelet in 18 ct yellow gold, composed of three-piece solid links. It is secured by a folding Oysterlock safety clasp and equipped with the Rolex Glidelock extension system, allowing fine adjustment of the bracelet length without tools.
