The Rolex Land-Dweller 36 127236-0001 was introduced in 2025 as part of the debut of the Land-Dweller collection. The Oyster case measures 36 mm in diameter and is crafted from 950 platinum, using a monobloc construction with a screw-down case back and Twinlock screw-down winding crown. Water resistance is rated to 100 metres.

This reference is distinguished by its ice blue dial, a colour reserved by Rolex for watches produced in platinum. The dial is decorated with a honeycomb motif finished with a sunray effect. The honeycomb structure is cut using a femtosecond laser, which is also employed to etch the fine grooves separating each cell. Open numerals and index hour markers are filled with Chromalight luminescent material, as are the specially designed hands, ensuring legibility in low-light conditions. The date is displayed at 3 o’clock beneath a Cyclops lens.

A fluted bezel in platinum surrounds the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. While originally conceived as a functional element of the Oyster case, the fluted bezel remains a defining aesthetic feature within Rolex’s design language.

The watch is powered by the Rolex calibre 7135, a self-winding mechanical movement operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour. The movement incorporates a Syloxi silicon hairspring with patented geometry, Paraflex shock absorbers, and a bidirectional Perpetual rotor. It offers an approximate power reserve of 66 hours and supports an instantaneous date display with rapid setting, as well as stop-seconds for precise time adjustment. Following casing, the movement is certified as a Superlative Chronometer.

The Land-Dweller 36 is fitted with the Flat Jubilee bracelet in platinum, composed of five-piece solid links. Designed specifically for the Land-Dweller case, the bracelet integrates seamlessly with the middle case and features alternating polished and satin-finished surfaces. It is secured by a concealed folding Crownclasp.
