Ressence Type 5BB description
The Ressence Type 5 was introduced in late 2015. Like the earlier Type 3, the Type 5 uses Ressence's signature Ressence Orbital Convex System to indicate time through number of revolving discs. The dial part however is oil-filled, while the movement sits in a separate, sealed chamber, and power is transmitted from the latter to the former by means of magnets. The case furthermore holds seven bellows to compensate for oil volume changes due to temperature variations. However, unlike the Type 3 the case is water resistant up to 100 meters and fitted with a revolving 0-60' bezel, making the Type 5 Ressence's first 'dive' watch.
The Type 5BB features a titanium case and a black dial. It is fitted with a black Barenia leather strap.
