Calatrava wristwatch with cloisonné enamel dial.
A tropical plant in glowing colors graces the dial of this limited edition (number of pieces unknown) in Grand Feu cloisonné enamel.
The decor of the “Heliconias” called for 70 cm of flat ribbon wire measuring 0.1 x 0.4 mm; 33 cm of round wire 0.1 mm in diameter for the veins of the leaves; opaque, semi-opaque and transparent enamels in 22 colors; and 11 firings at temperatures ranging from 800°C to 820°C. The bezel and lugs are set with 113 brilliant-cut Top Wesselton Pure diamonds (~0.8 ct) and the buckle sparkles with 29 diamonds (~0.22 ct).
Housed in a rose-gold case, the caliber 240 ultra-thin self-winding movement may be admired through the sapphire-crystal back.
