Oris 754 7779 4061-07 5 19 25 description
The Oris Big Crown Pointer Date “Bullseye” reintroduces a dial configuration historically associated with early Oris pocket watches and mid-20th-century wristwatches, now presented within the current Big Crown Pointer Date collection. The model is not a limited edition and is based on Oris’s contemporary 38 mm platform, continuing the brand’s long-standing emphasis on mechanical watchmaking.
The stainless steel case measures 38.0 mm in diameter and 12.2 mm in thickness, with a lug-to-lug distance of 45.5 mm. It features the collection’s oversized screw-in crown and fluted bezel, both integral to the Big Crown design language. Water resistance is rated to 5 bar. A domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on the inner surface protects the dial, while the screw-down caseback incorporates a transparent mineral glass window.
The dial is executed in a concentric two-tone “Bullseye” layout, combining grey and black sectors. A red pointer date scale runs along the outer perimeter, indicated by a centrally mounted date hand with a red tip. The display includes large Arabic numerals and applied hour markers, with hands, numerals, and indexes filled with Super-LumiNova to support legibility in low-light conditions.
Power is provided by the Oris Calibre 754, an automatic mechanical movement based on the Sellita SW200 architecture. The movement displays central hours, minutes, and seconds, and drives the pointer date complication via a central hand. Functional features include instantaneous date change, date correction, stop-seconds for precise setting, and fine regulation. The stated power reserve is approximately 41 hours.
The watch is delivered on a black Cervo Volante deer-leather strap, produced using responsibly sourced leather and fitted with Oris’s quick strap change system. The Big Crown Pointer Date “Bullseye” combines a historically rooted dial design with contemporary specifications, reinforcing the enduring identity of the Big Crown collection.
