The Oris New York Harbor Limited Edition II 01 733 7789 4187-Set debuted in 2025 as the Manufacture’s second collaboration with the Billion Oyster Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to restoring oyster reefs to New York Harbor. Oysters play a crucial role in improving water quality and creating marine ecosystems, and the project has set an ambitious goal of restoring one billion oysters to the harbor by 2035. This limited edition of 2,000 pieces builds on the success of the first 2022 release, reaffirming Oris’s commitment to sustainability and environmental initiatives.
The watch is based on the Aquis Date diver’s model. The stainless steel case measures 43.50 mm in diameter and is fitted with a unidirectional rotating bezel with a black ceramic insert, ensuring durability and precise timing for diving applications. Water resistance is rated to 300 meters, in line with professional diving standards. The case back is closed and features an engraved motif symbolizing the Billion Oyster Project and its mission.
The dial is executed in aqua green mother-of-pearl, designed to evoke the iridescence of oyster shells and the natural environment of New York Harbor. Applied indices and hands are filled with Super-LumiNova for enhanced legibility, while the date is displayed at 6 o’clock. A domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating protects the dial.
Powering the watch is Oris 733, a self-winding movement with central hours, minutes, and seconds, and a date function. It offers a power reserve of approximately 41 hours and is visible through the transparent sapphire case back on standard Aquis models, but here the solid engraved back is chosen in line with the limited-edition theme.
The Oris New York Harbor Limited Edition II is delivered on a stainless steel bracelet with folding clasp, and it is accompanied by an additional aqua green rubber strap with folding clasp. Production is limited to 2,000 individually numbered pieces worldwide.
