Omega 235.10.38.20.06.001 description

The Omega Seamaster Railmaster 235.10.38.20.06.001 debuted in 2025 as a contemporary interpretation of the Railmaster, a model originally introduced in 1957 for professionals working in environments exposed to strong magnetic fields.

The watch is housed in a symmetrical 38 mm stainless steel case with a combination of brushed and polished surfaces. The case measures 44.92 mm from lug to lug and has a thickness of 12.36 mm. A domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides protects the dial, while water resistance is rated to 150 metres. The watch is fitted to an integrated stainless steel bracelet with brushed and polished links, incorporating an easy comfort-adjustment system.

The dial is finished in grey with a black gradient, offering a subdued and technical appearance consistent with the Railmaster’s utilitarian origins. Large Arabic numerals and hour markers are filled with white Super-LumiNova, ensuring clear legibility in low-light conditions. The layout remains time-only, maintaining the visual simplicity associated with the historical Railmaster models.

Powering the watch is the self-winding Omega Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806. The movement provides a power reserve of approximately 55 hours and is certified by METAS. It offers resistance to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss, continuing the Railmaster’s long-standing emphasis on anti-magnetic performance. The calibre is visible through the transparent sapphire crystal caseback.

This reference preserves the core functional principles of the Railmaster while updating its execution through modern materials, finishing, and chronometric standards, positioning it as a contemporary tool watch within the Seamaster collection.
