Nomos Glashütte 144.S1 description
The Nomos Tangente neomatik 39 – Wempe Signature Collection 144.S1 debuted in 2025 as a limited edition of 100 pieces created in collaboration with Wempe. This edition is based on the Tangente neomatik 39 and features a rhodium-plated dial with a grained texture, paired with a black sub-seconds dial with azurage finishing. The hour layout combines five Arabic numerals in black with six rose-gold-plated hour indexes, and all hands—including the small-seconds hand—are executed in rose gold.
The stainless-steel case measures 38.5 mm in diameter, 7.1 mm in height, and 47.3 mm lug-to-lug. A sapphire crystal with inner anti-reflective coating is fitted to the front, while the sapphire case back displays the movement and bears the edition engraving, including “One of 100.” Water resistance is 5 ATM.
The watch is powered by the in-house DUW 3001 automatic caliber, with a height of 3.2 mm, a frequency of 21,600 vph, 27 jewels, and a power reserve of approximately 43 hours. The movement incorporates the Nomos swing system escapement and a bidirectional winding rotor.
The Tangente neomatik 39 – Wempe Signature Collection 144.S1 is delivered on a black Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan strap fitted with a Nomos winged clasp.
