Nomos Glashütte 241 description
The NOMOS Ludwig 33 duo 241 is the sapphire-back version of the smaller two-hand Ludwig, translating the collection’s classical design into a compact 33mm format.
Its stainless steel case measures 32.8mm in diameter, 6.5mm in height, and 42.2mm lug to lug. It is fitted with sapphire crystal front and back and is water-resistant to 5 atm; earlier versions were rated to 3 atm.
The dial is galvanized and white silver-plated, with Ludwig’s Roman numerals and no small-seconds register. As on other Ludwig models, the dial uses IIII in place of IV. Gold hands and dark mocha-colored numerals define the display. This reference is fitted on a beige vegan velour remborde strap with a 17mm lug width.
Power comes from NOMOS’ hand-wound two-hand caliber, with 17 jewels and a power reserve of up to 53 hours. Earlier versions of this reference debuted with the Alpha.2 movement before the transition to DUW 4001 Duo.
