Nomos Glashütte 930 description

The NOMOS Lambda rose gold 930 was introduced in 2015 as a 42mm rose gold model in the Lambda collection. This reference combines an 18k rose gold case with a white silver-plated dial, rose gold hands, and a large power reserve display. It belongs to NOMOS’ Atelier line and is powered by the manually wound DUW 1001, which uses twin mainspring barrels to provide an 84-hour power reserve.

The rose gold case measures 42.0mm in diameter, 9.0mm in height, and 51.6mm from lug to lug. It is fitted with a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the inner side and a sapphire crystal case back. Water resistance is rated at 3 atm, making the watch splash-proof. The case gives Lambda a classical round format within the Atelier collection, contrasting with the shaped construction of Lux while retaining the same precious-metal positioning.

The galvanized white silver-plated dial is structured around the large power reserve indicator across the upper half of the dial. A small seconds display is positioned at 6 o’clock, creating a balanced layout beneath the wide power reserve scale. The rose gold hands match the case material and add a warmer tone than the rhodium-plated hands used on the white gold variants. The fine dial markings keep the display light despite the 42mm case size.

Inside is the NOMOS DUW 1001, a manually wound Atelier movement with twin mainspring barrels and a power reserve of up to 84 hours. It measures 3.6mm in height and 32.0mm in diameter, with 29 jewels. The movement is visible through the sapphire crystal case back and includes Glashütte-style finishing, including a hand-engraved balance cock. The watch is fitted to a brown cushioned remborde Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan strap with a 22mm lug width.
