IWC IW3894-09 description
The IWC Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 TOP GUN Miramar IW3894-09 debuted in 2025. Released as part of the Colors of TOP GUN collection, this edition is limited to 1,000 pieces and introduces a new ceramic color developed by IWC in collaboration with Pantone®. Named “TOP GUN Miramar,” the light blue hue draws inspiration from the signature t-shirts worn by TOPGUN instructors beneath their flight suits. The 41mm case is crafted from high-tech ceramic, paired with a matching dial and integrated rubber strap in the same distinctive shade.
The chronograph is powered by the IWC-manufactured caliber 69380, a self-winding column-wheel chronograph movement with a 46-hour power reserve. Its vertical dial layout positions the 30-minute counter prominently at 12 o’clock, with a central chronograph seconds hand and small seconds at 6 o’clock. The chronograph pushers offer precise tactile feedback thanks to the column-wheel architecture, while the double-pawl winding system ensures efficient bidirectional winding.
To protect the movement from magnetic interference, the ceramic case houses a soft-iron inner cage. The solid titanium case back features an engraving of the iconic “TOPGUN” emblem, reinforcing the model’s connection to naval aviation. Additional functionality is provided by IWC’s EasX-CHANGE® system, enabling tool-free strap changes at the push of a button.
