The Glashütte Original Senator Excellence Panorama Date Moon Phase 1-36-24-02-02-01 debuted in 2023 as a refined addition to the Senator Excellence collection, combining a classical moon phase display with the brand’s characteristic Panorama Date.
This reference features a 40mm stainless steel case with polished and satin-brushed surfaces, paired with a blue Louisiana alligator leather strap fastened by a pin buckle. The galvanic grey dial presents a finely grained texture, with applied Roman numerals in blued solid gold and traditional blued steel hour and minute hands. At 4 o’clock sits the Panorama Date with white numerals on a matte blue background, while the moon phase indication—crafted in-house with diamond-turned moons—occupies the upper left quadrant.
Inside ticks the calibre 36-24, a self-winding movement equipped with a silicon balance spring, 100-hour power reserve, and 4 Hz frequency. The sapphire crystal case back reveals Glashütte stripes, a skeletonized rotor with double-G logo, blued screws, and refined hand-finishing throughout. The engraved “Q” on the case back confirms the watch has undergone Glashütte Original’s 24-day excellence test.
