Eberhard 41156.02 description
The Eberhard Contodat 41156.02 debuted in 2025. The Contodat Automatic is a mechanical wristwatch with automatic winding, inspired by an Eberhard & Co. model from the 1970s that was originally produced only as a chronograph. Its design preserves key elements of the historic reference, including the distinctive trapezoidal date display at 3 o’clock and the small seconds counter at 9 o’clock, both defining features of the Contodat’s symmetrical dial layout. Alternating soleil and azuré textures create subtle depth and contrast, reflecting the period character of the original.
This reference features a stainless steel case with a polished bezel, domed sapphire crystal with internal anti-reflective coating, a screw-down crown, and a screwed steel case back engraved with golden details and the Latin phrase “UBI TU IBI EGO.” The integrated steel bracelet combines polished and satin-finished surfaces and is fitted with Eberhard’s patented 2CLICK® deployant clasp.
The green dial pairs a sunburst center with an azuré-finished outer ring. Applied hour markers and skeletonized baton hands are rhodium-plated and filled with luminous material, while the orange small seconds hand adds a vibrant touch of contrast. A trapezoidal date aperture with applied frame is positioned at 3 o’clock.
Inside ticks the self-winding caliber SW290-1, displaying hours, minutes, small seconds, and date.
