Universal Geneve UGMD005 description
The Universal Geneve Disco Mini Lace Blue Mother of Pearl UGMD005 debuted in 2026 as part of the Disco Mini Capsule collection of Universal Genève. The model continues the brand’s tradition of jewelry-inspired ladies’ watches and draws inspiration from bracelet watches produced during the late 1940s, when elegant wristwatches were often designed to resemble fine jewelry.
This version features an 18k white gold case set with diamonds, paired with a blue mother-of-pearl dial whose natural surface creates subtle variations in color as it catches the light. The watch is delivered on a taupe alligator leather strap, giving the design a refined and understated appearance.
The Disco Mini is designed with versatility in mind. The leather strap can be exchanged for a matching white gold bangle bracelet, inspired by vintage bracelet designs and equipped with a hidden opening mechanism for a seamless appearance on the wrist. Additional interchangeable leather and tweed straps, created in collaboration with French ribbon maker Julien Faure, allow the watch to be adapted to different occasions and personal styles.
