Tudor M2836C1A0-0106 description
The Tudor Royal M2836C1A0-0106 debuted in 2026 as a 36mm stainless steel date model within the updated Royal collection, distinguished by its light blue dial and applied stick hour markers. Within the current 36mm line-up, this configuration combines one of the lighter new dial colours with the baton-marker layout introduced for this generation, giving it a cleaner and less traditional character than the Roman numeral variants.
Its stainless steel case measures 36mm in diameter and 9.7mm in height, with alternating polished and satin-brushed surfaces that maintain the Royal family’s balance between dress and sport cues. The bezel follows the revised notched design introduced for this generation, with more sharply defined polished facets that give the case a crisper external profile. A screw-down stainless steel crown bearing the Tudor shield in relief contributes to the 100-metre water resistance, while a sapphire crystal protects the dial.
The dial is executed in light blue and fitted with applied stick hour markers, together with a date aperture at 3 o’clock. In the 36mm format, the absence of the day display used on the 40mm models results in a more compact and restrained layout, and the baton markers reinforce that simplified presentation. The lighter dial tone shifts the overall feel of the watch away from the darker, more formal look of the black-dial variant and toward a brighter and more contemporary interpretation of the Royal design.
Inside is the Tudor Manufacture Calibre MT5412, a self-winding mechanical movement with bidirectional rotor system, 28 jewels, and a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. It is regulated to a tolerance of -2/+4 seconds per day on the fully assembled watch and incorporates a variable inertia balance, a non-magnetic silicon hairspring, and a stop-seconds function for precise time setting.
The bracelet is the Royal’s integrated five-link steel design, with satin-brushed external and central links, polished intermediate links, and a folding clasp with safety catch. In this 36mm light blue-dial configuration, the integrated case and bracelet construction remains central to the watch’s identity, while the baton-marker dial and lighter colour give the reference a more relaxed and more contemporary place within the broader Royal family.
