The TUDOR Manufacture Calibre MT5662-2U is a self-winding mechanical movement displaying central hours and minutes with small seconds at 6 o’clock and stop-seconds for precise time setting. It is certified both by COSC and as a METAS Master Chronometer.
The movement measures 31.78 mm in diameter and 6.52 mm in thickness. It uses 32 jewels, runs at 28,800 beats per hour, and delivers a METAS-certified power reserve of 65 hours. Its construction includes a bidirectional rotor system, a variable inertia balance with micro-adjustment screw, and a non-magnetic silicon balance spring.
The MT5662-2U is distinguished within TUDOR’s manufacture calibre range by its more traditional decorative treatment. The movement is specified with Côtes de Genève on the bridges, perlage on the mainplate, and an 18 ct gold inlay on the rotor. Its architecture is built around robustness and rate stability, with the balance secured by a traversing bridge with two-point anchoring. It is also specified as resistant to magnetic fields below 15,000 gauss as part of its METAS certification.
