Oris 01 1137806 4088 -Set description
The Oris Year of the Horse Limited Edition 01 1137806 4088 -Set debuted in 2026 to commemorate the Chinese Year of the Fire Horse, which begins on 17 February 2026. The watch was produced as a limited edition of 88 numbered pieces. According to Oris, the number 88 was chosen for its cultural significance, symbolising double luck and double prosperity in Chinese tradition.
The watch features a multi-piece stainless steel case measuring 43.00 millimetres in diameter, with a lug-to-lug length of 50.00 millimetres and a thickness of 13.10 millimetres. Water resistance is rated at 5 bar. The case is fitted with a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the inside and a stainless-steel screw-down case back incorporating a sapphire crystal display window. The crown is executed in stainless steel.
The dial is dark red and fitted with applied indices. The hands are treated with Super-LumiNova. The strap is made of dark brown cordovan leather and is secured with a stainless-steel folding clasp. Each watch is delivered with a dedicated wooden presentation box.
Powering the watch is the hand-wound Oris Calibre 113, measuring 34.00 millimetres in diameter. The movement operates at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and contains 38 jewels. It offers a stated power reserve of 240 hours, or ten days. The calibre provides central hands for hours, minutes, week, and month, a small seconds display at 9 o’clock, a non-linear power-reserve indicator at 3 o’clock, a date window at 9 o’clock, and a day window at 12 o’clock. Additional features include a day, date, and week corrector, a fine timing device, and a stop-seconds function.
The power-reserve indicator incorporates horse motifs that appear at different stages of the mainspring’s state of wind, representing moments when the movement is fully charged or requires winding.
